    How Does A Sunbed Work

Well the first few times you use a sunbed you wont see a great difference, it's after quite a few times that you start to see the difference. Also when you come out of the sunbed its best to have a shower soon after as this brings out the tan more.

It all depends on your skin colour as too how long you stay on for - its best to maybe ask somebody in the place about your skin colour and how long you go on for.

My natural skin colour is a little bit pale but kinder average i guess and the first time i had one i got advised to only go on for the max of eight minutes, it doesnt seem that long or like it would change anything and it doesnt really but it helps to start to build it up. Everytime you go add on a few minutes like my second time i went on for eleven minutes then so on.

You should start too see results after maybe about three or four goes depending on your skin colour and time.

I would recommend that you went on for three minutes for your first time, then after that, six minutes a few times and then nine. If you go on a few times a week then your tan should top up quite quickly. If you burn then don't go back on until your skin has healed. Using a good moisturiser daily will help you keep your tan for longer aswell!

I would strongly recommend against this. They are powerful sources of UV light, and the people that run them are often uninformed about safety. They have a vested interest in having you use them for a long time.

And does skin cancer look good if it is all nice and tanned?

it all depends on how white you are. the whiter you are, the less time you should be in one for.... otherwise you will get burnt, you gradually increase your minutes. the ppl who work there usually will help you out with how long to go and stuff. I saw results about 2 or 3 times after my first...
