What is the average time for the 40 yard dash for a 12 year old?

Okay, so football season just started recently and during the first week we ran the 40 yard dash. I ran it in 5.1 seconds, is this fast, slow, average?

And another question most of the kids on my team ran around high 5s and low 6s, does this mean we have a fast team?

    your 40 time is relative to your size and what position you play. the bigger you are the slower it should be. as far as team speed high 5's low 6's is not fast by any means

    For being twelve man 5.1 is fast. You will probably run a 4.6-4.8 in high school. You are above average for sure.

    I was a fat kid. My 40 was timed with a calendar.
