What does everyone think about the "More to Love" show?

I am plus size and have no problem with it. I work out and eat right and have a fiance, but i do feel confident in what I can do & about myself and I'm not full of myself. But some of these women on this show sounds like they have been beat down by a lot of people in their lives. I feel sorry for them b/c they are beautiful in their own way no matter what size. I was just like them growing up, being made fun of, but then at the end of middle school & the start of HS till grad. I was popular among my friends and people I knew in my Senior year. I had no probs then at that time. But I feel sorry for these women that feel bad about themselves & i wish they would just work on their self esteem and self confidence. I can see their hate for skinny people and when they say bad things about skinny people, they sound like they envy them. But I know all of us are made different and come from diff backgrounds & much more that people like males don't understand. All women, I think can understand though b/c it is hard trying to keep self image, self esteem, self confidence and more. I myself, like this show, b/c (my opinion) I agree w/Emme & it is different & fresh.

A lot people I have talked to said that they wish this show would hurry up and end. Why? Plus the other people I have talked to have basically segregated the plus size people (not just women) into groups away from skinny people, medium sized people, and so on. But why? I heard Emme the plus size model say that this show is breaking barriers in society itself. I know she is right. Only serious inquiry comments. Give answer and a reason why. & make it logical and not hateful or rude. Thanks.

In the words of Joel McHale: "I think it's the biggest exploitation of overweight people since Dance Your *** Off"

Honestly, I'm so sick of all these shows coming out exploiting overweight people. They need to stop making these shows up. They choose the saddest girls/guys and try to make people feel sorry for them. By them going on telvision people are only making fun of them more. I'm sorry to say but that's America these days. I know quite a few overweight people and they aren't sad and upset, they've had great lives so far. Everytime an overweight person is on tv, they always tell some story about how people always make fun of them. And I really don't think the majority of overweight people get made fun of. Even in high school. Sure, they may have had a hard times finding dates but so did skinny girls. It's nothing to go on tv to cry about.

I think that all of the media attention that seriously overweight people get is desensitizing the general population to morbidly obese people. I am 36 years old, and grew up in Canada where people are generally in better shape than Americans. I never remember seeing 400 pound people ever. Looking back at school pictures, the "Fat Kids" that I went to school with were barely chubby by today's standards.

I think continually making it easier and more socially acceptable to be an unhealthy weight is not cool. People need to learn how to control what they eat. (I say "what they eat", not necessarily "How Much".)

At my heaviest a few years ago, I hit about 260 pounds with a six foot frame. I was not happy with my appearance or overall stamina. I'm back down to 160ish pounds because I completely took crap out of my diet.

I eat zero fast food, zero diet soda, zero packaged foods, and I avoid most types of vegetable oils. What I do eat is a lot of real butter and olive oil, fresh vegetables, starch, and no more than a small 3-4 ounce piece of protein. In a nutshell, I eat like people used to eat in the 1950's. (Back when overweight meant an extra 20 pounds, not 200)

I think that it's also important for people to have a certain degree of comfort in being hungry. For example, I am a little hungry now but I know that lunch is just two hours away. I will pass on a snack.

A massive coronary can kill you, and being overweight makes that so much more likely. I want to see as many tomorrows as possible. I don't want to wish for more time on my death bed, I want to have already had more time.

Ok hope this isnt rude cuz Im not trying to be. The reason I think people want it to end is because its kinda boring and pple like drama. I dont think it has to do with the weight well at least not in my case I watched it and it just wasnt interesting in my opinion and in someone elses I spoke to about the show. I believe if there was drama people would be interested kind of like the bachelor some seasons r boring and the ones with the drama is the ones that usually get the most attention for example what seasons have gotten the most attention? The past 2 in my opinion, the one with Jason with his whole love triangle drama and this past one that had a guy that was a total jerk with a gf and now jullian is going through drama with her current fiance. So I think the answer is it lacks drama. Personally I'll watch in the end I like watching when it starts getting serious and theres love :-)
