I'm having a problem with mozilla firefox?
I only have Icon on my screen for firefox and it is on my quick launch it stopped working along with the IE button there and on my desktop. I have tried to uninstall but every time I try to uninstall it says mozilla must not be running in order for me to uninstall it. but I do not have any open windows. so, I can't uninstall. I even tried a standalone uninstall that said it uninstalled it but there it is still in my add/remove programs list and still will not uninstall. Can anyone tell me the reason for this? I also tried to reinstall over the old installation but get the same response (firefox must not be running). HELP!!!
Thanks Harbinger (of good advice) worked like a charm. Kind of embarrased I didn't think of ending that process as much as I'm in task manager checking to see watch chewing up my resources lol. Thank you both
Have you tried your method before luke? I don't know if disconnecting from the internet would have ended the process or not...might have. Thanks nonetheless. Be curious to know.
