why do people think that eli manning is better than ben rothelisberger?

i mean we all know brady and peyton are sure hall of famers but considering that ben has won two superbowls already don't you think he is getting in too?:) to me ben is much much better than eli! what do you think?

Update:

chuck w- you say you would take him over brady because of super bowl wins, you might want to reconsider why you are picking ben because if you haven't notice brady has three titles as well as an mvp award oh and he is a two time super bowl mvp:) ben is a good qb and i put him #2 behind the great brady but if you are going to pick him over brady make some good points next time:) btw- of course he is a true steeler he is on the team!

nicely huge Ben would not turn the ball as much as Eli in the process the season and enjoying in Pittsburgh potential much less stress to accomplish at a undeniable point. He additionally has a youthful coach whose no longer likely to stuff the ball in Ben's palms too generally whilst there's a remarkable working game in the back of him Eli, on the different hand, is relatively sloppy and nicely, he basically makes each and every game packed with drama. He have been given the interest carried out this previous season so which you won't be in a position to declare he's no longer a sturdy QB. The ends justify the potential in Eli's case. Even tho i'm a Giants fan, I basically see Pittsburgh having extra opportunities at distinct great Bowl appearances interior the subsequent 6 or 7 years (i'm assuming they are going to play for that a lot longer). Pitt is extra consistent, they save a remarkable training team, no huge drastic adjustments in philosophy. I dont understand if Eli might have that luxury in long island. Coughlin is up there in age and that i dont see him here 2 years from now. If there's a training replace, there will be transition for Eli and however products are around him.

I like Eli as a QB a little better than Ben. I think Ben is in a great system. The Steelers are built around there Defense and on offense they are mainly a running team with a great O-line. Ben isn't asked to win games. Ben didn't put up great stats in those Superbowls. With what Ben has to work with around him there are several QB's in the league you could have put on those Steelers teams that would have walked away with two rings. I would venture to say most NFL QB's would have walked away with two rings. I don't want to take anything away from Ben now. I just think Eli has a more accurate arm and can read defenses a little better.

Ravens advocate- are you serious, your team's one and only superbowl win was because of its defense, and with the qb you have now, you might want to go younger on that defense, you're going to need it.so you're in no position to talk, but cheryl to answer your question, i can't believe some people actually think that, eli is nowhere near what ben is and that's a fact, as long as ben keep going the way he's going, he will be one of the greats and a hall of famer, the end:)

Hmmm...The only ones that are delusional and think that are the Giants apparently, with the $97.5 Million contract...

Most people I know KNOW that Ben is probably #3 in the NFL behind Tom and Peyton...

Incidentally, Ben has been the highest paid QB in the NFL...as far as what he gets from the Steelers(not including outside endorsements) for the past couple years...

I might be biased against Eli because as a Redskins fan I despise the G-men, but this year, the money will add even more pressure to him, and without Plaxico as well as Toomer, (oh and I think Brown is out for the year) his totals won't be even close as what the NY media demands out of someone making that kind of money.

Ben has more playoff experience but I am not a Steelers fan. But at least he has 2 super bowl rings, though I somewhat dispute both of them.

since when did eli become better than ben, Ben has wat it takes to come through in the clutch his second season and already won a superbowl when was the last time an NFL player did that he's been in the league for 5years and already 2rings some qb's don't even have a ring so I've never heard that statement that eli is better than ben never until now it's just not possible

Ben Rothlesburger..he is a clutch Qb.Has more SB rings than Eli. More 4th qrt comback wins than Eli. More consistency in handling the game when it matters, esp. in the playoffs than Eli.

Both of them rode the coattails of their defense in their superbowl wins.

    As same as Brady..

  • i think that ben is much better than eli! and for people to say that brady and ben only won because of their defenses clearly don't know squat about football:)

because hes like the ultimate underdog and thats what the game is about, and he knows how to beat an 18-0 team and go 12-4 the next year and he has no where to go but up. love the guy, really underrated.

Source(s): and he did beat roethlisberger last yearr
