Teaching A Senior Dog To Play With Toys?
My newly adopted dog is twelve years old. He ended up in our care by chance, and we have no knowledge of his previous owner or training. He is very well mannered, but I think his last owner was harsh- for example, I don't think he was allowed in the house often or at all, or that he was ever allowed toys. He does not seem to know that they are okay for him to chew on. How can I teach him to play with toys?

Pretend like you're chewing on it or through it around! Good Luck!

i agree with cherchi..training an old dog really is a challenge, specially if you are training him to play with that age and without a knowledge how he is treained before by his first master..
