looking for car for my grandson... found a 97' honda accord with 175,000 miles.. with new timing belts,tires?

new paint job, major tune up.. clean car fax... look and drive great...what will be some of the things to go out .. at this mileage...can everyone help me here.. just a grandmother trying to get a car for grand son... the car is $3,000 thank you

    Even though Honda makes great cars, nothing lasts forever. That is allot of miles! Take it to a reputable mechanic for a complete evaluation before spending any money. Trust me, you want to know what you are getting into! New tires and paint may be putting lipstick on a pile of crap! Nobody on the internet will be able to evauate the conditoin of this car without seeing it!
