I actually just consider them "half and half." I don't really pick one of the races.

Sometimes, the person looks more of one race, so I pick the one that shows more- very rarely though.

I'd see the child as mixed race or bi-racial. I wouldn't choose one race over another because the child is both. But I suppose that I'm biased in this because I'm bi-racial and I've never seen myself as only one race.

well to me it amounts to this,, white people were nt the first people in north america, history says american indians were here first,,many different tribes,,and they did nt marry among other tribes,, they kept their blood line pure ,with their particular tribe..but here comes old white man,,he made friends with lot of tribes and started to marry amongest them,,so we got native americans--cross, bred with white folks which the indians shunned,,and called em half breeds--- and many other different colors of people from other countries--- japanese, chinese,,etc,,,then the northern yankees,,started bringing black slaves over here,, hey white man had children by them,,so we got afro--americans,,in short-- united states,,is made up of many different cultures, religions, races ,opinions, but the bottom line is we all americans,,no matter what the color of a person skin be,,, so i'll be dang if i can figure out why people want to put a label on a person,,like they a product you buy at the store,,,you either american----or you aint,,,,amen---
