ABSTRACT!!! Latest Met to go down (plus two other payers hit in the head tonight) What do you all think?

Neftali Feliz should have been told to hit the first Red Sox batter in the thigh. I'm mad at Wash for not ordering it, and if they don't hit someone early in tomorrow night's game Washington should be fired.

I don't really keep up with the Dodgers or Rangers...

so yea i was so scared when David Wright was hit.

especially because just over a week ago a different pitcher tried to throw at his head and Wright just moved out of the way in time.After that Jeff Francoeur said that if you are going to throw at someone, throw at his back not his head,you can seriously mess up someones career by hitting him in the head.

So when David Wright got hit that was the first thing that came into my mind.

Hope they all are ok.

the mets can't afford the rest of the season without him.but on the other hand I hope they don't rush his return like they did with Church last year.

BQ-i would probably throw at their arm or something.but not at their head.

I was very surprised, I didn't know about Wright and Kinsler.

I think Kuroda's was the worst because he had no protection what so ever. Wright and Kinsler at least had a helmet on to absorb some of the impact. I hope they're all ok.

That is soooooo dangerous, and poor Mets! Their one remaining good player down with a concussion, with all the Mets bad luck this season, you had a feeling that David Wright was gonna get injured.

BQ: I would retaliate, that is so dangerous, but I wouldn't retaliate with a pitch to the head, more like to the knee or lower part of the body.

I was so surprised to hear/see all of these things happen. I hope all of them are ok after such a scary incident!

I think the most shocking to me was Kinsler, just because I saw it happen live on TV. The other ones I saw after they happen. I I did one of those really load "Oh-no!" gasps when it happened. It's really rough to see. I just remember being at the Twins game when Nick Blackburn got hit in the head and it was so,so scary.

BQ: I'd throw inside the next inning. I don't know if I could do anything more drastic XD

Pitchers who hit a batter in the head with a pitch should face a mandatory suspension of one week. Whether they were trying to or not, they need to realize that they could kill someone out there.

My heart stopped beating when I saw David Wright go down. I just wish this season would end already.
