Does anyone know if an Marine Corps OCC recruiters are taking applicants?

Kinda at a stalemate here. I have gone through the whole flight physical process and was approved by NAMI but they have so many applicants that they telling me it could be a year before I get to OCS. I started putting my package together last year. Does anyone know of any OCC recruiters looking for qualified applicants

    That is accurate gouge.

OCC has always been a 'surge tank' to make sure manpower meets its Lieutenant needs. In times of need, they open the gates wider. In times like these, they take less.

I was at a bar in Fredricksburg an hour ago, talking with a guy who isn't going to OCS until next summer, though he wants to go now. You are not alone. PT hard, find a meaningful job in the interim, and ENJOY your freedom. Make a list of all the cool **** you want to do/see in your life, and check some of those boxes...you'll probably never be this 'free' again. Ever.

am not sure, but your best bet would be to actually talk to a marine OCS recruiter, plus the new military fiscal year starts in october, so they would probably be slots by then

call a recruiter and find out. That's the only way you are going to know. Unless you can pull strings you are probably stuck waiting the year.
