Do you have a Canadian passport? If you do, and it says that your nationality is Canadian, then that's your nationality, but not your ethnicity/race.
One of my friends has a mother from Vietnam, and a Vietnamese or Chinese father. She says she is Chinese.
I think it depends on each family's interpretation.. you can be seem as either Vietnamese or Chinese... or a mix of both... why don't you ask your parents? While I'd lean more on the Chinese side, I'm pretty sure you would probably be considered Chinese-Vietnamese by most people though.
Hope this helps a bit! :)

What's your race, that's the most important. It's what you look like. People travel and immigrate, more and more today. What you truly are is your genetic DNA.
