tv cuts itself off after 30 seconds?
I have a Magnavox vcr dvd combo television. Just yesterday it started to cut itself off after 30 seconds of play. Anyone got any ideas what's my problem?

well, it's definitely not you, it's the tv. don't waste your time thinking that it might be a setting that you tweaked or whatever. return it back to the place and tell them about your problem and get another tv. your problem is actually common to these new lcd tv's; it may be just that particular unit you bought or it may be a problem that affects the entire model. i had a vizio that had that problem and i traded it in for a sony. the sony actually did that once, the first time i turned it on, and never did it since. i have no explaination for that.

My TV did this too.. its best to just get a new one. it gets worse than 30 secs... at least for me it did
