Am looking for a good Mexican non-chain restaurant to take my family to for a birthday dinner.?

Needs to be on the north side...Marietta or North Atlanta area.

    I LOVE this place called Tera Humata in Alpharetta on Windward Parkway (Exit 11 off of 400), head East about 2 1/2 miles. Great food, not your stereotypical mexican. AWESOME Margarita's too!

    I would recommend No Mas! Cantina. It is in Atlanta in the neighborhood of Castleberry Hill. It is a more upscale Mexican restaurant and the food is pretty good. Their website is www.nomascantina.com

    I live in Marietta and have always loved this place called "Tijuana Joe's" but it's a chain. Only in Georgia, though, and it's good...not a crappy chain like Taco Bell or whatever.

    I like Jalepeno Charlies. The cheese/seafood dip is amazing. But its on Peachtree. Try Yelp.com
