Possible sun breakout and sunscreen allergy?

Two days ago, the lower part of my right cheek broke out (even though i wear sunscreen everyday), probably due to bicycling in the sun and now it's starting to peel. This happened to me about a month ago as well in the same area, but i drank tons of water and it went away.

Could it be the sun screen i've been using? it's Neutrogena Healthy Defense with SPF 45 (kind of high, i know). It says it won't clog pores, but now i don't know. I've been using it for about 2 months straight and never had a problem.

What is a better moisturizer that has sun protection in it and that won't make me break out?

well it could have nothing todo with the sun or your sunscreen.

have you changed anything in your routine lately??

also you said it happend to you a month before...it might be because of your period??

but i would recommend using a moisturizer with sun protection because it more gentle on the skin...try cetiphils sunscreen that may be more gentle.

You could be allergic to the sunscreen, or it could be sun poisoning, which is not protected against by most sunscreens. Also, i recommend trying a sunscreen specially formulated for the face.

try neutrogena sunscreen for sensitive skin

my mom used to get a terrible rash from the combination of too much sun and her sunscreen but she has been using this for years now and hasn't had a reaction since

It's probably the sunscreen. Try a baby sunscreen or one made especially just for the face.
