Used to be best friend drama, i need help!?

Question

okay so me and my used to be best friend have been fighting since like last christmas;
we used to hang out so much until she got this boyfriend of hers that she "loves so much". We try to hang out and then she always ends up not being able to for some reason. we always fight about this, hes rewining our friendship. and now hes trying to fight her battles for her by like fighting with me also.
me and this girl have been friends for like 5+ years i've tried talking to her and it just doesnt work.
should i give up or what should i do?

I think you should wait..let it go for a while bc when he breaks up with her or she breaks up with him she will find herself alone,,then she will need you bc she will have no one else to go hang out with since she does everything with him.
