Whats Some healthy food? Like what kind of stuff keeps your body in shape ?

this might be long BUT pleasee HELP ! Im 16 and i want to know what kind of stuff keeps your body in great shape & healthy

for example what kind of , yogurt , cereal , vegetables, fruit, etc.

im pretty skinny putting on weight is my only problem , is there any food that will gain me weight fast but in a healthy way though , should i be drinking protein shakes ? for right now i do push ups and sit ups at home , how many times should i be doing them ? can anybody give me a workout plan for push and situps?? PLEASE HELP !

all Your answers Are Great Except For One OF you lols , I dont wanna focus on to much weight lighting because i heard if you do at a young age you kind of get short.

I Heard If You Do weight lifghting , your height will be short , and i dont want that what kind of exercise should i do that wont make me short ? i want to work on my abs and biceps that the most thing i want

    Hey dude im a football player and im about your age and a lot of my friends have had your problem. Your problem is that your probably eating a lot when your "hungry" but not anymore than that really. Eating protein like chicken and fish keeps you lean while giving the muscle needed. If you work out definitely drink protein shakes and mass builders. I went from 100 to 150 in about a month while gaining almost no fat. Recap: Eat at least 5-6 times a day, drink the mixes if you want, keep active, eat a huge breakfast then a pbj sometime soon after.

    I had the same problem about a year ago,I drank Heavyweight Gainer twice a day,and that is perfect for you,I was 14 at the time and then I began eating everything in sight and I put on about 30 pounds,no lie..but then again I did lift weights as well...

    my workout plan is this.

    monday-biceps and back

    wednesday-chest and triceps

    friday-legs

    This will make you gain weight and muscle,trust me..if you just eat right(meat with alot of protein such as chicken and high quality low fat meat) and eggs are also great!

    First, do not start out your life by worshiping your body. Seriously. Just eat what you enjoy and do not over eat. I've never seen a chubby out of shape person who did not continuously eat. Sure, eating some things is not good for you. Example: Butter is better than margerine. You do not need to eat the whole pound when a teaspoon will do in cooking. Nothing wrong with water. Good sense and you will be fine. Oh and one more thing. Do not become a couch sloth. Drop the cable TV and exercise your brain along with your body. Good Luck.

    Eat 2 1/2 cups of fruit every day and 2 cups of vegetables every day! Try not to cook them though. Also try to eat a lot of colors. Drink Water!

    Uhmm I agree, 88 pounds is underweight. I would suggest you be careful, because if you lose weight, it might not be good for your body. You should still eat healthy though! :)

    Apples and bananas. Oranges and pears. Raspberries, cherries, plums. Grapenut and granola bars. Pudding.

    mcdonnalds burger king del taco jack in the box and as much candy as you can e tooat oh yah and sitting on the couch is good for your body

    i would eat fruits they taste good and they have natural sugar that wont make you fat
