I'm going to Las Vegas for 5 days... Give me the top 5 ORIGINAL things to see and do!!?

Simple question but try and BE ORIGINAL!!!... i.e. The Grand Canyon is obviously on my list already... as is general Casino stuff... But in order to try and find the other best things, I'd like your suggestions please! It might even be to get a burger from an amazing place or just to see something different...

I found these places I'm going to check out when I visit in December

    www.Dinnerintheskylv.com

    www.pinballmuseum.org/

As far as an amazing burger, make sure to hit up in'n'out unless of course you're from the west coast and have it where you live.

and make sure to see some shows. Any Cirque du Soleil show is good. I'm gonna check out O this year. And MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris is also a great adult show. Really classy even tho its a topless show.

    1) $15 at the discount ticket booth will get you in to see Mac King's Comedy show one afternoon at Harrah's. It is the best $15 investment you will ever make in good clean fun.

    2) on the more expensive side is Jersey Boys at the Palazzo, followed by dinner on the patio at Paris Paris Hotel's Bon Ami Gabi restaurant with a view of the Bellagio Fountains. Very romantic.

    3) $3 one way or $7 for an all day pass gets you a tour of the strip and Fremont St. on the Deuce double decker bus. It is a Vegas original and Fremont Street Experience is a must-do in Vegas anyway.

    4) Travel the world of cola flavor with a round the world sampling from Coca Cola World near MGM Grand ( and also near M& M World) and take in a free M&M movie adventure while you are there.

    5) If you are adventurous, go to the Palamino all nude dance club. It is not the biggest or best, but it still smells like old vegas and the rat pack.

Yes everything is scripted and the nose break was accidental... but come on... the spot was so horrible and in the middle of a great PPV... We had to listen to the big show flounder on until he finally gets to Rey. Why not just have Show come out right after the match instead of giving him the mic to say, "I missed you". Why not just have him come out and go for Rey when Mayweather jumps him from behind knocking him to a knee and then getting some punches in. And what is up with a guy not being able to pull some punches? Breaking a nose? That was kind of ludicrous. Lastly... do you really think in a real fight Mayweather would win? Did we forget that is where Big Show was... training for boxing? He is in the best shape of his life and there's no way I would piss him off if I ever saw him in a bar. He'd whip the **** out of anyone... except maybe Hornswoggle.

The strip offers shows outside of some hotels example The treasure Island casino has a pirate ship show that was good, next casino had the erupting volcano. New York New York is a very interesting casino, were you feel like your ithe city. My very favorite is the "old section" The Freemont street experience, were they have Lasr light shows like every half hour, bands every couple of blocks and store and vendors. The casinos are old but have character and are much cheaper than the strip. The Golden Nugget has a great pool where they have a shark tank in the middle of it, and a slide...Hope this helps abit..Have fun...

The huge floor to ceiling chocolate fountains in Bellaggio, and see the Conservatory in Bellaggio too.

Do a CSI mystery adventure tour where you and a group solve clues.

Definitely go downtown to Fremont Street for the light show at night and ride the Deuce.

My favorite time in Vegas is getting up at 6am and hitting the strip before it gets busy. The sunrise is so beautiful coming over the mountains. Plus it's interesting the see the nightlife folks still hanging on, and it's a great time to people watch especially down by O'Sheas, you ,can see some really drunk people that time of the morning, and some playing craps who are so tired or drunk they can barely stand up.

Throw a one time max bet in a Megabucks machine, superstition says tourists are more likely to win.

Share a dessert at the Peppermill Cafe, just South of the Sahara. (Unbelievably huge portions there.)

I think the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is pretty cool.

The only show I'd really recommend is Blue Man Group.

If you're a museum geek or if you have kids with you, check out the Springs Preserve.

If you're here to drink, hit the bayou-themed casino on Fremont Street for a margarita or pina colada and tip your bartender- you'll get a much stronger drink.

I'd say avoid Margaritaville, it's always packed with really drunk people.

The Treasure Island show isn't worth dealing with the crowds.

1)Hoover Dam - take the big $25 tour (hard hat) WOW

    2) Caesars Palace - the Magic Dinner Show - 24 people per setting

(and with any show you want to see - wait till you get there and the

coupon books have many BOGO's - buy one get one free)

    3) Luxor Buffet below ground

    4) and eat off the strip - found a great "hole in the wall" the locals went to - dang - they were right - better than the glitz

    5) WalMart - there are 6 or 7 in the Vegas area - home away from home

    get chapstick and moisturizer

    lastly

be kind to your desk clerk when checking in

    (how are YOU doing today?)

ours upgraded me and my wife from 2 double beds to a king suite

on the corner - overlooking the mountains and the swimming pool

at the Flamingo - WOW - NICE COMP! (and he even moved a person out for last two days of our stay to get us in there)

    all the best
