Honda engine question?

So I recently bought a 1994 Honda prelude with a different engine. It has a JDM H22A DOHC VTEC 2.2L engine. the Timing belt snapped and bent all the valves. I found a new head on craigslist advritised as an H22A head VTEC too. Will this work with the engine I have. ( I dont know the year of my engine or the year of the engine the new head is from)

Yes. It does not matter what the years of the engines are. An H22 head is an H22 head. Be sure to deck new head before you put it on the block to ensure good head gasket seal. Also make sure the pistons have not been damaged when you take the junk head off.
