Has anybody transferred hardrives on 360? Need to know procedure.?

if u buy the 120gb hard drive itself it will come with a tranfers kit but the xbox elite itself does not come with one becuase xbox says teh elite if for new game owners. they want u to kjeep the orignal xbox cause everything u download is liscenced to that console(nt hard drive) and your gamertag.

it coems with instructions and its pretty easy. u plug one end into the usb and the other into the new hard drive than u do what it tells u. it takes while too and theres alot of disclaimers on it u should read before using it. like all your data could be lost and microsoft wont be held reliable.(rarely would happen), but i tihnk that bullshit. they want poeple to update with these new instant games on live but hey if u lose your **** oh well.

you can download all content agian on xbox live if its lost. but if u have a memory card put all your saved fiels on that if it makes u feel safer.

my cousin auctaul switched his hard drive info solely using the mamory card though im not sure how.
