Hooking up a portable washer to a bathtub spout?

I would like to use my portable washer in the bathroom. Under the old bathtub spout there is a threaded piece sticking out that is capped. Maybe for a hand held shower attachment at some point? I don't know anything about plumbing. :) Is it possible to hook up the quick connect adapter for the washer to this instead of the kitchen sink?

Update:

It's not the drain hose I'm asking about. It's the quick connect to the water supply.

No. The drain hose must be above the tub of the washer, or the water you run in will just drain back out. It's designed to run at the kitchen sink for a reason. Hope this helps.

EDIT: What brand do you have? Most use a combination fill/drain hose. The hose connects to the faucet, and water comes in through the top and drains out the bottom. If you can give that info, I'll try to give you an answer.

IDK. Uncap it and find out. That's not normal in any bathroom.
