Absolutely 100% a moral issue. and our "Christian Value Society" will be one of the last to jump on the band wagon. Look at the beautiful shining teeth in the poor impoverished countries, most are shiny and bright, Know why they have FREE medical. I'm an old friend of the questioner, hasn't seen me in near 2 yrs. as I had heart failure and when I didn't Die after getting out of the hospital, I had no medication or money for it! You can't work you can't make money, you can't find a job (even day labor has few job's) you have no money, your child get's sick you go broke paying medical and taking of work. if you have been sick before you can't get insurance. I could go on for ever but no need. YES it is the Christian and Moral thing to do. America is thought of as a leader we need to step up! Much Love xxoo

    Thank you Great Question

It is not a moral issue like abortion because people are not divided about what is the right thing to do. Only sociopaths do not think we should care for the sick or leave accident victims lying in our streets like road kill if they don't have money.. The issue is how we can best care for prople without bankrupting the county, that is it is an economic issue.

Denying lifesaving treatment to someone based on their ability to pay is morally repugnant. But we don't do that. People generally get the treatment they need whether they can pay or not. The problem is the games that get played so that one entity or another is not stuck with the bill is a huge part of the problem.

Fraud, waste, the litigation landscape and the profit motive make up the balance of the problem.

I believe it is, especially in this country. What kind of country turns it back on children? Boo Bush did, by refusing to sign a bill that would insure that more children get health care. He instead wrote that prescription-Medicare bill to lower drugs for seniors, but didn't look at paying for it. Wasn't important to him, he knew he'd be out of office before the sh** hits the fan.

yes, it is if call ourselves a Christian country. How can turn our back on our poor and needed. No one out there should have to make the option to eat or get my medicine. It's wrong the system that we have now of corporations making money of the sick, the more sick we are the better for them, maybe that's why we are so fat and obese.

I want to say there is some morality involved, but do we not all agree that health care should not be denied to any?

Some people must think so. There are many non-profit organizations out there practically giving it away. Thank God.

for some. its about Communism to others. some wants it and others do not for those very reasons, free is never free there is always a price that has to be paid. some of us can see what it is others only care about getting free aspirin after they give the government control of there life.
