Hi Taco man. Has your Father read these report about the truck? If not you should copy them and do some research on trucks in Consumers Digest.Call Consumers Digest if you have to pertaining to this particular Model. Also do you have friends that are truck oriented that do work on them? Call some repair shops to see if they are getting more than there share of these trucks and have them send you something on the computer you can copy.Toyota Manufactures Number and find out if there is a recall for certain trucks with your Fathers Serial # on it. We have had recalls on some of the things we have purchased in our life time and you just have to go back and discuss these problems that are written in these reports with them. Get a written ok that this truck your papa has and the year is safe? don't believe everything you read on the internet man. most of that stuff is made up. The site you supplied dosent seem to be very credible either. relax man...if you are really concerned, bring the car into a certified toyota repair shop and have them do a full inspection of the car. If anything is wrong they would tell you. good luck man.

dude every car has problems just take car of it make sure you do ur maintenance and things will be fine
