Is it true that drinking more water makes you burn food faster?

Update:

I don't need to lose weight, I just heard it on an advert and wondered if it was true.

It's wrong to lie like that on adverts.

No, but water makes you feel more full, helps to flush out your system faster and is good for you overall.

Studies have shown that what many people feel is hunger is actually thirst. Soda and sugary drinks make it even worse.

To lose weight, try drinking more water in between meals. You will most likely not have as much of an urge to snack.

No. Water has zero calories and it takes no extra energy for your body to process it.

Water does take up space in the stomach and can help curb hunger, though. That's a bonus.

Yes it does, it also keeps you hydrated which is good.
