I can't sign into PSN?

For some reason, every time I get on, it always signs me out and says an error has occurred.. My internet connection is T1 and connected properly. Can anyone help me?

    I hear the PSN is down because of maintenance and upgrades.

    I have 2 accounts in my PS3. In the 1st account i put Lebanon as my country because it's where i live but it didn't sign me in knowing that my connection is fast. In the 2nd account i put US as my country and the account is working perfect. So the problem is that some countries dont support PSN. So u should make a new account and sign up again and see if it works.

    New ps3 slim is coming out and currently psn is under maintainence that is it is down for few days and will be restored soon
