Is it ok to go to the hair salon with dirty hair?

of course the point of going to the hairdresser is to get your hair done which includes washing lots of people go to the hair dresser with dirty hair its natural and they take care of all your hair problems and theyll get rid of your dandruff but if you dont want dandruff in the future try making sure your hair isnt dry but oiling it or using greese oil is best

Yes, but only if you know for sure that they will wash it before they cut it. If you're going to not wash your hair before you go to the salon you should wear it in a crazy bun so they don't think that you actually go around with dirty hair all the time. (:

Yeah, i'm going to do that right now, im getting highlights before a cut though, so they're going to wash my hair before it's cut anyway. I don't have time to wash my hair or i'll miss my appointment so... :/ But my hair's not really greasy either just by the roots and barely :p

its ok. it really doesnt matter because most times they will shampoo your hair anyway. if you are getting a color or something like that its best to go with dirty hair. if you are getting curls or a style for like a wedding or pageant its best to have dirty hair so the style will hold better- as long as it isnt really oily or anything.

Of course it is! They wash your hair anyway and you are paying for it, so don't waste your time washing it yourself!

Plus they are the "professionals" so if you have some problems (like dandruff) then they can advise on what products to use.

Lol yes!!! Most hair salons have sinks to wash people hair before giving them haircuts (its easier to control) and it feels SOOO good when they wash your hair. They do it really thoroughly too and it feels like a massage.. on your head. So go for it! :D

Yeah its fine. The place I go to washes your hair before it is cut so its not dirty when it is being cut :)

It's okay but I wouldn't go in with like really disgusting oily hair. Like if it was a little bit dirty I guess it's okay.
