election violence in afghanistan could this be the UK in 50 years time?
when we read of the threats to the very lives of people who dare to vote in the middle east do the liberalites and pro-immigration supporters realise that this could be the UK in 50 years time?.
alistair darling said it in one sentence "polling was vital for the safety of afghans and people in the UK".-what have the polls in afghanistan got to do with us living here in the UK?-think about it!.
the question was more aimed at the liberalites and pro-immigrants who seem to have no objection to claims by certain members of the muslim community that the UK will be an islamic state in 50 years time-well if this is an example of life in an islamic country i would rather not have it thank you very much!..
intrepid-in the 45years i have lived in the uk i have never known people to be threatened with dismemberment and force-fed their limbs for voting-arguments yes-but nothing like this-and we do not want it in the UK -is that alright by you?.
maggie-soothsayers of doom eh?-i take it you have not ventured into any of our inner-cities lately then!!.

I won't be here in 50yrs time thank F'ck. The way muslims are creeping into everything there is a strong possibility of this country being a muslim state so yes voting could be like you said.

The trouble with too many people is that they read what the papers have to say, they look at half an hour of news a day, during which something like this gets five minutes coverage and then misinterpret the weasel words of a frankly mediocre politician and proclaim themselves the soothsayers of doom.
If you really want to debate this, read your history and learn about current affairs from other sources than whipped up red top journalists who would be hard pressed to pinpoint Kabul on a map of the world and would struggle to recognise the shape of any country bar their own.
You are right however that it is certain members of the Muslim community who spout these views; a minority of publicity seeking, extremist zealots who are to Islam what the Phelps are to Christianity.
And you, by taking their claims on board are playing right into their hands.
Fundamentalist religions have ALWAYS relied on ignorance to gain and maintain power and influence.

We are thinking its you that isn't
If the Taliban stayed in power then why wouldn't they just let the next Osama Bin Laden raise a Jihadi army there, train terrorists and provide a base of operations for attacking us
It is only through better understanding and education and democracy that we will defeat the terrorists, not by sitting in fear like you suggest - because then the terrorists have already won
There have always been threats to voters in this country - from the Tolpuddle Martyrs to suffragettes to the IRA threatening UK voters, but we persevere.
If you don't understand how fighting in Afghanistan protects us here, how stopping the terrorist camps protects us, then you have fallen for the propaganda of the BNP and those others who care more about their power base than the safety and security of the country they claim to care about and play right into the hands of the terrorists
So yes I've thought about it - have you?

With all the violence in the UK right now, it could be next year. Good luck.
