What you are observing is the never ending battle between science and philosophy That has raged ever since one stone age witch doctor investigated what was making his patients sick and his competitor decided that was to much work and went with the magical solution. This still happens today as most of those who are fervent political believers on either side of the issue are followers of the charismatic magician who is only in it for the money and the educated skeptic who wants to scientifically solve the issue but is prevented from doing so by the magicians henchmen who use political mud slinging tactics to prevent real solutions and keep their employers magic business profits high.

Who actually makes more money the hard working skeptic or the political magician from the AGW issue.

Actually, I don't know enough about faces on Mars to answer that part. But global warming is real, man made global warming is still not proven. Evolution of a species to it's environment is proven. The evolution of a species into another totally different species is still unproven.

You can believe in both global warming and evolution but still be considered an outsider if you don't believe exactly like the people want you to.

CO2 caused the warming in the last century

Bush lied people died,

Acid rain will cause deforestation

CFCs caused the hole in the ozone

America is rich off the back of poor nations,

the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

A better question is why would anyone in their right mind believe any of the myths that I mentioned yet if you believe the first, you are almost certainly going to believe the others. Ask yourself that next time you look in the mirror.

Global warming theory comes from science, Evolution comes from science both have vast amounts of data to support them as theories. The face on mars is based on few photos taken by the Viking orbiter in the late 70s, 18 years later photos taken by the Mars Global Surveyor many times better resolution show no face but normal geologic formation.

I don't think that is true at all. The first one is the only myth if you can call political propaganda a myth. It is better described as a lie that is really only believed by leftists and the gullible.. Only a few very ignorant people believe the face on Mars represents something put there by Aliens.
