Would the Wireless USB Network Adapter recieve signals from my router to connect to internet?

    Yes. if the USB was designed to receive and send internet signal, then yes, it would work.

    although i dont know if you would need software to make it compatible or not, ive never used them.

    Depends if it receives the same type of signals your router sends out, Best Buy should be able to help you, go ask them if you really need something ASAP.

    If your close to your router just use the Ethernet cable
