Any place i can purchase real swords?
I dont mean those show swords that might look nice but arent sharp. But actual swords that could be used in combat if necessary. I am not planning to use them but i just dont see why i would want to purchase a weapon for show... preferably one well balanced.

If you're going to physically use it, people won't be able to tell whether it is sharpened or not from far away.
The problem is it is hard to find ready-to-use swords anywhere but local stores due to federal laws and delivery routes.
I suppose if you don't mind stainless steel as long as it is well balanced, you can look on Bud K and sharpen it yourself.
I know that there are a few stores per state that sell combat ready swords and such, but I'd have to know your location to give you any directions.

There is actually a large market for "real" swords. If you just want to browse then go here instead of Trueswords.
They have the same great everything as Trueswords only a much larger selection in "real" swords. True sells mostly decorations.
If you tell me your budget and what style sword you are interested in I am sure I can give you some solid recommendations.

There is a place I know of in my local mall called "Nu Image" and they sell a lot of knives, swords, and combat weapons. A lot of them look very modern, but they are VERY cool looking. Like anything, you need to be over 18 to purchase them though.

Well, you could check around your local mall or an outlet. The mall closest to my house sells a bunch of European Swords and Katanas.
If you want to purchase online, I suggest you check out http://www.firebloodarms.com/

If your on a budget go to Trueswords.com then swordsofmight.com. If you want high quality then try handmadeswords.com, coldsteel.com, and unitedcutlery.com. If the sword isn't 100 bucks or more then buy a cleaning kit too, you'll need it. This is my sword and I love it.

Most swords do not have a sharp edge they are about force. Minor sharpness is normal.
