Best bowling lanes in Vancouver, BC?

We were thinking of getting a bunch of friends together to go bowling for my 32nd birthday but we're sort of new to the bowling scene here. Are there any recommendations for a fun bowling alley that has good music (80's, motown or classic rock etc) and perhaps even glow in the dark nights?

Also, we moved here a few years ago from South Africa - is a bowling party for adults strange in North America? A lot of bowling lanes seem to advertise parties for kids.

Thanks!

The only one I liked was the one right underneath the Holdom skytrain station. (It's along the Millenium Line)

I always went there in the summer with my friends. They have laser bowling at night I think; they call it "Cosmic Bowling". Check out the website! Wouldn't hurt to call! And they always play music from the 80's to alternative to pop from what I remember.

EDIT: It's not strange at all. It's just not as common since these days the "In" thing to do is to got out to a club or have a cocktails and dinner. To each their own, my friend!

With its extensive areas and somewhat equable environment maintaining temperatures moderate throughout the year, Vancouver is just a paradise and now, you've the chance to learn it with hotelbye . Vancouver is features a busy national life. Among the areas worth visited in Vancouver is Granville Island. Once largely professional, Granville Island is currently a flourishing hub of task with a peaceful and distinct atmosphere. Artists and stores have moved in to modified warehouses alongside houseboats, theatres, galleries, and restaurants. The Granville Island Public Market is certainly one of typically the most popular attractions selling fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, and a good number of different specialties as well as ready-to-eat items. Maybe not truly an area, the arts hub is connected to residential parts by one path and footbridges to the south, and to the Downtown peninsula (across Fake Creek) by ferry.
