My baby turtles aren't eating!!?

Hello In the midst of you purchasing these little critters, you dont consider what all it needed to go through to get to you such as packaging shipping etc, then to a tank in a store probably assaulted by kids banging on it then placed in something to be brought home to you them here we are you can not expect them to eat.

I suggest you keep food offered however donot let it toxify the tank, allow 10 minutes. but it is not bad for them to go a day or even 3 without eating let them adjust and get used to the environment you provide. please be sire temps are correct and that they have a basking area, be patient it takes time to recover form this type trauma/.

if all else fails call the vet go in and have them looked at could have parasites depending if they were wild caught.

For Pete's sake! Stop panicking. Turtles in a new tank often refuse food for a couple of weeks.

They dont eat sticks. go to your local pet mart and find canned turtle food. they love that. also chop ur some lettuce for them. And make sure their habitat is correct. That could be a contributing factor to their fasting.

troy i have to paint turtles and when i got them neither of them ate for 2 weeks to a month. dont worry they will eat they just want to make sure they are comfortible in there new home any question email me please feel free to ask

sometimes when you bring a animal home it may take some time for them to calm to their new home weight a few days then try again but remember to keep the water clean at all times Good Luck
