What can I use in lieu of deodorant?
I recently discovered that they really mean it when they warn you not to use it if you have broken skin. (I was in a hurry and not thinking. Yes, this is related to my previous question). What do I do instead until everything's ok? Just the standard corn starch and baking soda, or is there anything easier I can do. I'm in the Northern Hemisphere, so it's the middle of summer here, and going without in a humidex of 30+ isn't really an option.
Oh, and I've heard of the baby powder option, but a) we don't have any around the house, and b) baby powder tends to be scented, so if I want to go to work that's not really an option.

I've always used lotion when I don't have deodorant, but I suppose it would be even worse on a cut than deodorant. Really, any sort of powder would work, because they absorb liquid. That's what baby powder's for, to absorb the liquid to prevent rash. Hell, flour might even work if you think about it. So the corn starch and baking soda route sounds like it'd work.
