Making brownie bites- advice?

Ok, so, I would like to make brownie bites- by that, I mean, I'm thinking that instead of pouring my batter into a pan like usual and then cutting them into portions after they're done, that I could put some batter into mini-muffin tins and make little bite sized brownies. Has anyone else tried this, and does it work/turn out ok? Thanks!

This works out fine, remember to only fill it 1/3 full or it will come out like a cupcake. You can make individual meat loaf servings like this as well.

These sound good enough without the ganache. Just use the frosting. I know you didn't ask for a recipe but I thought I'd send one to give you an idea of baking time and temp. http://www.loveandoliveoil.com/2009/02/chocolate-p... Just a word to the wise, however. Use the little cupcake liners. I made some mini-muffins today with blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. They turned out great but with no cupcake wrappers, they stuck to the pan and took forever to clean and that was after using Pam. If you use your own recipe and they don't have two much extra sticky stuff, you'll probably be OK with just Pam.

yep, it works great! just a note - you may need to decrease the regular baking time somewhat, so watch them carefully. sounds yummy though!
