Our soul, or it's state has nothing to do with the state of our physical body.

A 2 year old child might have a more developed soul than a 70 year old before death.

Most of us do not even have a soul yet, only in potential.

All of us have a spark inside, which is like a seed for our soul, but we need to work hard during our life to grow a "fully functional" soul out of it.

If we die before we have activated our soul, we return in another incarnation to try again.

If you are interested in how we can activate that spark inside ourselves, please follow the link below:

I hope it helps, all the best.

Yes, but I feel, I don't know, but I feel like the question is, how much did we get to know and understand that soul. I think when I die I should know myself much better than I do now.

(Ecclesiastes 9:11) "I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all."

so after you die, your soul does NOT continue on.
