Mystery caterpillar, what is it?
i found this caterpillar on my tiny japanese maple tree. it isnt very fast, but whenever i check on it (in a jar right now) , it eats and entire leaf and i have to give it another. i have never seen this kind before. do you know what it is? it is a little smaller than an inch long.

Sorry Link. I recognized that one immediately once I seen it I have several of them and Milkweed Tussock Moths around here.

Its some sort of a Tussock Moth. Maybe a Western Tussock Moth, White Marked Tussock Moth, or a Rusty Tussock Moth...

there are such a lot of specific varieties of caterpillars... so idnno it perhaps tuff watching for one certain caterpillar esp if u dnt understand the identify..i used to be appear for one the opposite day mine used to be just a little specific... shud of taken a percent with ur cellphone fone or whatever. after which published it up.... well good fortune..
