what would this fabric be called? (link included)?

I'm going to be making my boys bedding sets soon and this is what I'm re-creating.

http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/bb130/inde...

Now I have seen fabric like the blue quilt in stores. It had a diamond stitching instead of the zig zag but that is okay :) I want to look around online to find the best prices but I cant figure out what this fabric would be called. I looked at the quilting section on joann but I'm coming up short. It doesn't have to be exact. Basically any cotton fabric with stitching would do. thanks in advance!

Update:

I defiantly plan on adding stitching to keep it all together but I have seen a thin cotton fabric with diamond stitching to it in stores. I wanted to order it online since I will be making 3 blankets 6 pillows but I just cant find the name.

You're looking for quilted fabric (quiltED, not quiltING). You probably want the single-faced (fabric on one side, batting on the other) instead of double-faced (fabric on both sides, batting in the middle). JoAnn Fabrics has it here:

    http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp;jsessionid=...

    although the colors are limited.

Hancock Fabrics has light blue here:

If you Google "single faced quilted fabric" you'll get more choices.

Actually, that stitching is part of the process of making a quilt. Usually it is two layers of fabric with a layer of batting in between. The stitching keeps the batting from bunching up in one area of the quilt when the quilt is washed. I don't think you can buy fabric that is prequilted.

I have seen pre-quilted fabric in fabric stores, but I never thought to ask what its called. I researched sites for pre quilted fabrics on yahoo and several sites are there. fabric.com had blue fabric and other plain colors, but there are lots of sites to check. Good luck.

that's a pencil gown. i'm in ordinary terms answering to be the obnoxious individual who corrects others' spelling: that's spelled "sequins" and the singular variety is "sequin". i don't understand what a "sequent" is yet a "series" is a catalogue of numbers like the Fibonacci series (a million,a million,2,3,5,6,13,...) So, back to the question: that's a sequined pencil gown.
