His real name is Saul Hudson, and he got his nickname Slash from his friend's father for being so active and hyper as a child, "slashing" around the house all day.

Saul Hudson. Dudes british. His dads friend called him that one day when Slash was a kid because he was small, wiry and always in a hury.

Slash's real name is Saul Hudson. and Seymour did gave him the name Slash because he was always in a rush.
