Can I get Workers Comp if injured on the Job?

I injured my upper back at work,I slipped 2 disk but I am still working there with the pain.

I deliver heavy things to customers.

I want to get a settlement so I don't have this issue over my head all my life, and incase the business ever goes belly up.

My lawyer said as long as im still working there I cannot get anything...?

Is this True..?

My Doctor recommends I get a different Job.

He said it will only make my back worse working there doing the lifting.

BUT going without income I'll go belly up..

Any suggestions

Yes you are entitled to Workers Comp if your injured on the job especially if the pain is due to been hurt while performing your typical job duties at your company. Neither can you be terminated for filing a claim due to the pain and suffering. By the way the lawyer is wrong you can have a pending claim and still work ~~~!!! for the correct legal advice call me anytime I have a team of lawyers and resources that is willing to answer your questions in regards to your workers comp. case or injuries
