Do you remember Jublies?
When I was a kid we would buy ourselves Jublies, they were just a few pence, (many years ago!)
I was talking about these the other day with my husband and we were wondering why when you sucked them, you could suck all the juice and colour out and would be left with a plain piece of ice?
Can any one explain why that happens?

I can only say how envious I was,
my friends all got them,
I had to make do with with a penny ice-pop.
Funny cardboardy wrapper on Jublies if I remember rightly.
