Yes he is massively expanding government. Those that believe private health care can survive competing with government health care are very naive (IMHO) ... the government will tell the Dr's and hospital what they have to accept as payment (aka making an offer they can't refuse). Private insurance companies will be forced to pay more. Currently, the fees paid by Medicare often do not even cover the expenses that are incurred by a Dr or hospital. Private insurace companys will be driven out of business. B.O has stated that that should occure in aabout a decade.

I've watched this from the beginning of his choices for cabinet. He appointed Eric Holder.a proven crook with a soft spot for terrorists and a penchant for undermining the law for political gain, as Attorney General (what irony) and Timothy Geithner, Secretary of the Treasury, who lied about his taxes, yet will be the head of the IRS. (more irony). Leon Panetta, as head of CIA, who clearly obstructed justice under Clinton. I could go on but I'm limited to how much I can write.

So why would a president pick such sully and criminal characters? Because if you plan on pulling shenanigans, you need folks you know will turn their heads and will go along with it. You need folks who have PROVEN they will go along with breaking the law.

I haven't even mentioned the 44+ Czars which answer to NO one except Obama. That's unconstitutional and not what our Founding Fathers set up. Add the power grab of the private sector and you start to see a picture forming? Oh, did I fail to mention he was azz deep in that shenanigan about selling his Senator seat in Illinois? Since I heard Pelosi closed down Congress by shutting off the lights I have been very concerned that this country is on its way to a dictatorship. From the wording of this bill, my fears are becoming realized.

If you believe in staying informed, you should inform yourself about healthcare, because it is not a government takeover by any stretch of the imagination. Private healthcare will continue as it has before, but with a bit more regulation. And hopefully there will be a public option to provide effective competition with private insurance.

Yes he's changing government to where it is hardly recognizable any more,

it certainly isn't a normal government that is being built....there are Czars for almost everything that report directly and follow no government guidelines
