Does this invalidate fasting during Ramadan?

I failed to wake up on time for Fajr today. I awakened at 07:00 and prayed to make up Fajr, then I ate a meal afterwards, not prior, in hoping it counts as suhoor....then continued the day fasting.

Is my fasting valid or not?

Update:

I wanted to hurry to make Fajr before the sun rose any higher-being already late as it was; eating suhoor would had made my prayer even much more late. So I rationalized on what I though what would be the best intentions to serve Allah (Subhana Allah wa Ta'ala).

It all has to do with your intentions. If you did it really not knowing that it was wrong, then Allah is Most Forgiving and you will be okay. However if you were fixing your meal thinking, "hmm, I bet I am not supposed to eat right now.." and decided to do it anyway, then yes, you broke your fast and will have to make it up. Only you truly know what your intentions were when you ate, and Allah knows best.

    That is so cute.

Apparently, you didn't know it was wrong. It would've been more responsible of you to check first, but since you've already done it, it's still valid. Provided that it was a mistake and wasn't intentional.

I mean, intentionally done even after you knew it was wrong.

if it's done in ignorance then your fast is valid. which is the impression i am getting. you can not eat when it's Fajr.
