Let's say you have an on line contact who never gave you their real name?
Or, for some reason chose not to give it out maybe only to certain people, would you feel odd asking for it? I would, but i wouldn't "pout" over it if i didn't. :0 }

I agree with Sawman, but with all of the weirdness that goes on online, you would think that after communicating with a person online for awhile, they would want to share their name with you... 1st Name at least!
Furthermore, usually after a short-time, people become "special" dearer friends, & it seems that this alone would make them really want to share their names with each of their friends... Has you can see by my "Source" below, I've always been ready to share my name on here...lol!!
Just my thoughts from the peanut gallery...lol!
((HUGS!!))
Have a great tonight, & a TERRIFIC Thursday!!

Hi Sweets ,
Wow , that's a good one .
Me , When I mail , I always sign my real first name so usually the mail I get back has the persons real name on it & from there it turns into a more intimate friendship than just a contact .
But I also have contacts that just use there avatar name & that's just fine by me .
Each has our own reasons & I can not judge them without knowing .
You & I are open books * smiles * D :)

properly honestly, any time somebody sleeps with somebody in basic terms to spice up their ego is an risky element, so the undeniable fact which you're encouraging your lady chum to act in the variety of trend is rather irresponsible. How could she have the flexibility to have faith you in case you're encouraging her to overcompensate for her insecurities, and with somebody else even! What if she have been given an STD, or had a run-in with a violent guy all when you consider which you informed her she could? i could say your accountability is to guard her at this element; you took benefit of her insecurities and the undeniable fact that she depended on your judgement. you do no longer deserve her, if she exhibits gets with guy who truthfully likes her you may decrease back off.

I have several contacts that have been contacts for years and I don't know their real names. I rarely ask and don't take offense if they never offer. Some people are never trusting and comfortable on here to give it out, that's OK by me. We still get along just fine! I would never be upset :)

I have one right now and that is OK with me as that is her right. I think perhaps we all should be more careful on the Internet.

I would be curious, but it's up to each of us whether we share that and with who. :) Makwa/Jo
