Why are women more religious than men?

That's actually a very interesting question. Maybe religion appeals more to the emotional needs of women than men.

Because women have heart purer than man and they know the existence of God. They leave because the love of God to enter their hearts.

Since the man (not all) have the heart more driving and therefore can not feel God's Divine Love in your Heart.

I always thought it was because women live longer than men. Old people tend go from luke warm non practicing to practicing a religion.

That would make more women than men practicing religion.

I add that women are receivers. What I mean by this is that women tend to hear and listen more than men. This extends to the spiritual world where women will listen to their consciences and Heaven. Men tend to be more proactive in the world while women tend to sit back and wait for something; receiving something. This makes them more spiritual. Women tend to fill themselves with spirit because they are open receivers.

perhaps the part of our brain that feels a need for an authority figure is the same part that imagines god. a male may already feel his roll is to be the authority protective figure, so the desire to find an alpha figure as oppose to being the alpha figure doesn't really motivate them. while some women, (not all, love my independent females!) feel the need of a father figure, or a protective figure, a provider, and cling to the idea of the almighty.

again a perfect example of how religion oppresses the mind. we are all equal. male and female. we are all alpha figures in our own lives story.

Because men have more to look for in this world. It's also been shown that older people are more likely to believe in God than younger people. The older people have lived their lives, and are willing to look at eternity.

Stastics also show that 4 out 5 dentists prefer Trident gum, doesn't mean their true.

If this is in fact true, than it would explain the conditions of the world and God chose men to be the spiritual leaders.

Another thing is it is one thing to believe in God, but another thing to do what He commands of us!
