Can some people really be that ignorant?

This site does at times certainly seem to disprove the old saying "The only stupid question is the one that's not asked."

I kind of get a kick when I run across a wacky question. I answered a poll yesterday that included the question "What do you like better, ketchup or Darth Vader?" Some of the answers were as wacky as the question itself.

The ones that bother me more are the teeny boppers who ask "Am I pretty?" or "Can I be a model?" I've only been on here a couple of weeks, and initially answered a couple of these, only to notice that it is probably one of the most asked questions on here and that most people asking are simply fishing for compliments by posting a link to flattering photos of themselves. Now I simply choose to ignore these.

Don't let the wacky, offbeat, and stupid questions get to you. Some people ARE very ignorant, but it's important not to let them get to you. Have fun with it. Life is too short to not enjoy every moment.

I totally agree with u.... As an older guy I can't believe the youth of today as they all seem so brain dead and clueless and this, sorry to say are the ones going to run our future.... This site is a great idea but especially in the dating & relationship section these people are way too young to be engaging in relationships/sex as they just do not have enough experience with life... Questions like: How do I get a guy... OR I got a text from him does that mean he loves me... OR He cheated or talked to another girl what do I do... I understand that they are curious but from what i read here they r engaging in adult activities way before they r ready not to mention they do not know how to use grammar correctly...

I used to listen to [old - as in their first album]Korn and similar bands, and I was ignorant at that point. Then, in my search for harder music, I picked up some Lamb of God cds I had gotten from my friend a few months back, and then got into that and Six Feet Under and Hatebreed, and now I've completely gone away from even those (except SFU) and am into melodic metal now.

Lol. Yeah, some people are pretty dumb.

I once read, "My kitten has been sleeping for over an hour! Is she okay?" I laughed so hard. I'm guessing it was an overprotective owner.

Somebody living in Georgia (the state) was worried about Russians invading, and asked whether or not tanks would be attacking his town. Just look at the link. ^^

If you think the questions are stupid you should try reading the answers.LOL
