Hang on a minute, there's a Christian "Clergy Appreciation Day"?
Hmmm, ya really do learn something new every day.
Now don't get me wrong...I'm all for showing my sincere appreciation to others who help me, teach/mentor me, care for me, etc. I like to give credit where credit is due. But I'm a little confused by this.

Wouldn't this be going against the give all your glory to God, put God first/before all others, praise God stuff?
So, you can take a day to show special appreciation to your clergy, those who are supposed to be working on God's behalf, but when the average ordinary human being does something extraordinary, worthy of praise and/or a show of appreciation, you give the credit to God?
Uh huh, and when flight 1549 was put down in the Hudson and all survived, folks were all over the news giving all the credit to God for the "Miracle on the Hudson" and barely even thanking the pilot for keeping his cool and handling the emergency situation so well, or the efficiency of the flight crew.
What? We are all just puppets on strings and these invisible entities "God" and "Satan" control our every move?

I work at a Christian Book store and we've spent the last week setting up displays for this Clergy Appreciation Day. You wont believe how much some of these gifts cost! It's really kind of astonishing-- and they sell like hotcakes. Lucky pastor.

A Christian priest healed me when I was suffering from an unknown disease.
Credit for all good deeds goes to God and bad for Satan.

You can give all glory to God and still say thank you to your Preacher or Priest.
No confusion needed here.

The Clergy likes to suck little boys penises. I have a problem with that.
