Democrats, I ask this in all honesty?

Democrats, I know that President Obama rating have dropped and this make Republicans want to have a town hall ho down. ha, ha. BUT, in all honesty, with all the compasion and warmth they have shown us,especially on Y.A. would you ever in your life vote for a Republican? I know I sure as heck won't. I may not vote for Obama because he has three and a half years to prove himself. But I sure as Heck know that I will definitely not be voting for a Republican!!!

    More than likely, I won't.

Look at the actions of people like their representatives, like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh (none of whom are elected officials), and they do treat their own elected official, Michael Steele.

They keep telling people that the Government is slow and wasteful, but offer no solutions to improve how it is run, other than passing their responsibilities to private organizations.

Plus, I lived though 8 years of George W. Bush. I think it's safe to say that experience alone spoiled Republicans for me.

That's part of the problem MJ. Although I certainly don't see myself voting for a Republican anytime soon, I have voted for many in the past. Politics today have become a partisan sport which is hurting this country severely. The gridlock is preventing any substantial progress of any kind which is so very sad. The tactics of the neocons have to be condemned and left behind for me to give any serious consideration in backing any Republican for now though.

This was the first election I ever voted in.. mainly after seeing the way the GOP ran the convention and campaign.

I would never in my life have believed the level of dirty politics and slander that could come out of any group, much less people running around, claiming to be patriotic and/or Christian.

Hanging out here for months, and listening to the claims of the right.. has only solidified that disgust towards their mentality.

I would like to assume that there are Republicans here, who don't stoop to that level.. if so, your party is being trashed by the extremists.

I would see myself voting for a republican (I'm a moderate, no really). Not today's republicans, though. They're being as helpful to AMERICA, not the Democrats, as a stuffed cockroach. The only republicans who deserve office are the Reagan's, (true americans), and pre-2000 McCains (before he sold his soul). I usually vote democratically, though.

I wouldn't vote for a republican. Not because of who their supporters are, but because I don't agree with most if not all of their policies. If the democratic candidate was an idiot I'd probably vote 3rd party.

  • I am not a Democrat but a former Republican Independent and I can tell you that unless major changes happen (like finding a new core constituency) I Will NOT Vote For ANY Republican again!
