How do I stiffen the crown of my 8-point cover?

One easy way to do it is to cut a tiny piece of cardboard into a little rectangle and fit it into the front of the cover (on the inside). There's actually 2 triangular flaps there that will hold it in place (If yours are made the same way they made ours in the Corps). If you get that front panel standing up nice and straight, it will make the whole cover look better.

Other then that, you can bend a wire so that it fits in the octagon at the top of the cover, then startch it while the wire is inside, then remove the wire for wearing.

Another option is simply to cut an octagon out of a piece of cardboard (Cereal boxes work ok) and fit that in there.

There's really no reason to look THAT squared away though unless you're parading or something.

What up no pain, i think considering the question mark of Kobe's health and the Jazz having the momentum coming in- it's a pretty large spread. i hope they do cover the spread because if there is a game 7 the margin of victory may be in the Jazz's head. Close games give teams the idea that they can win on the opponent's home-court. So i hope the Lakers blow them out so that if there is a game 7 the Jazz will not have this idea in their head that they just "blew a game". i think a healthy Kobe and the Lakers' role players will be the key to the game. If Sasha, Farmar, and Walton or Radmanovich can give them some contributions- i think Lamar, Pau, Fish and Kobe will do their usual thing and it'll be enough to give us a 3-2 lead in this series. Spray your cover with starch until it is moist all over. You will cant to place like a old credit card or some sort of plastic card that size in the inside front where your rank insignia is. This will keep it from sagging. If you can ,place it over a small lamp shade. Or lay it flat on a hard surface where it will dry. Should last you a good month, if you do not roll it up and stick it in your cargo pocket. LOL
