If you have an air pump that will pump 28 gallons of water a hour, how many cc's would that be a minute?

I would like the conversion used to figure this out if possible.

Strictly off the top of my head (no iPhone app required).

    1 cubic foot = 7.48 gallons

    35.31 cubic feet = 1 cubic meter

    1000 liter = 1 cubic meter

    1 liter = 1000 milliliters

    1 milliliter = 1 cc

    So,

    28 gal x (1 cub. ft/7.48 gal) x (1 cub. meter/35.31 cub. ft) x (1000 liter/1 cub. meter) x (1000 milliliters/1 liter)

    = 106,012 cc per hour

    1 hour = 60 min

    106,012/60 = 1767 cc/min

Your answer may be different based on rounding.

Source(s): I used to have to convert gallons to cubic meters all the time.
