Take the "A" or "C" trains (Blue Line on the subway map) to High Street, Brooklyn Bridge.

    Good luck

I always recommend walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and taking the subway back across the Manhattan Bridge. If walking into Brooklyn on the Brooklyn Bridge, keep walking straight to the traffic light, that should be Tillary Street. Turn left and walk 2 blocks to Flatbush Avenue. Turn right and walk down Flatbush Ave until you see the Dekalb Ave subway station, and get the B or Q trains which both go across the Manhattan Bridge.

you can take a number of different trains to the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge, namely the A/C, F, 2, and 3, but the closest train is the A train to High Street - Brooklyn Bridge.

The A or C train to High Street is the closest. The F train also has a stop at York Street. It's probably a 5 minute walk from York Street on the F train vs. about a minute or so from the High Street station on the A or C train.

The A/C at High Street are closest, but you can also take the F to York Street or the 2/3 to Clark Street to get within five blocks or so.

Before you cross the bridge you can enjoy some of New York's best pizza at Grimaldis on the South side of the bridge. No slices, though.

    Isn't it the F train??
