Perhaps an anole? There are many green lizards and geckos out there.

There are plenty of green lizards and geckos. Here are some:
iguana
day gecko
anole
water dragon
chameleon (lots of different types)

The only kinds of green lizards I can think of off of the top of my head would be:
-Iguana
-Green Anole X3

I believe they are anoles if they are small and not big it cant be a iguana ^^^ when it is chilln somewere do you see it poke this red stuff out of its neck? If you do then it is defiantly a anole. Now if they stick to things like your garage or your door then they are house geckos which you can find everywere.

It might be green curry paste? It's generally a Thai condiment. It's easy to find a recipe for and make if that is what you're looking for.
